We have created a unique hybrid curriculum with aspects of the International British Curriculum (English National Curriculum) and the Uganda National Curriculum. We plan to transition to a full international curriculum in 2 to 3 years.

Yes. We place a strong emphasis on the all-around development of our learners through extracurricular activities that provide pupils the opportunity to develop their individual talents and most importantly create learners equipped with the relevant skills to lead in today’s globalized world. Our extracurricular activities include foreign languages; Spanish, Swahili (with plans to introduce Mandarin), coding and digital literacy tutorials, music, the creative arts, and sports. (basketball, tennis, soccer). Near future plans include activities like swimming at Aspen's swimming pool, which is to be developed; basic financial literacy, and an onsite school demo farm among others.

Yes, the school offers transport as a shuttle service to and from the school, at a flat rate. Our shuttles ply various routes around Bunga, Gaba road, Munyonyo, Lukuli, Salaama, and the Entebbe express-way.

We have a dedicated space and plan for the development of a 25-yard swimming pool in the near future, at which we shall have our swimming lessons. (See Master plan here). In the meantime, we will look to hire suitable swimming pools relatively
close to our location.

At this time, the school does not arrange overseas trips but plans to partner with and establish exchange programs with like-minded schools internationally in the future are underway. We plan for our learners to collaborate with peers from different schools internationally on pertinent global issues like the environment, climate change, sustainability, global citizenship, and understanding among others.

Currently, the school does not offer bursaries. We do have a plan to create bursaries for bright and talented individuals, who under normal circumstances may not be able to access the Aspen education experience on account of affordability.

Yes. One of the Aspen values is Egality, which means we treat all our staff, learners, and parents with equality and respect. We embrace diversity because understanding each other makes us better humans. We encourage freedom of worship.

We have an on-site Sickbay room where first aid can be administered. Our facility is manned by trained medical professionals on select days of the week. Parents will be expected to document their consent to administer first aid to their child in case of an emergency, or may document their preferred provider in case transfer is warranted.

We have scheduled visitation/ open days every term, during which parents will be given the time and opportunity to discuss the development of their children. However, parents may contact our teachers to obtain specific information on their child and their development.

We currently exclusively enroll children in Early Years (3 years old - 5 years old) section and the Primary 1 to Primary 3. We have plans to apply for a candidate center for UNEB exams.
